Thanks for the photos but no thanks for the big @ss copyright stamp that TJPhotos.co.nz chose to place right across the middle of the car. Something you will not see from most quality PA photographers.

What's this guy trying to protect ? Are parade lap photos so sacred down under that we need to cover them up with a big ugly stamp ? :thehand:

Maybe they actually sell their photos instead of giving them away online? :dontknow:

Always a possibility. Would you pay for those photos ?

Some folks "give them away online" because they are left with no other option since they can't legally sell them anyway due to exclusivity agreements between track photographers and promoters.

Some "give them away online" to help support the teams in their promotional efforts. But what do I know :dontknow:

Kudos to you Gregg! Your site is full of Outstanding photography and no annoying ugly watermarks completely obscuring the action. :D

Some of us do it to make a quick buck, and some of us do it for the love of the sport. Just my 2 cents.

And I know all about the tired arguement about investment in equip, blah blah blah....

The way I look at it ,if your stuff is good enough, you can share some of it and still sell some of it,too.
Slapping huge watermarks all over everything is no way to get business,if you ask me.....
