R.I.P Nanna Mumma
Chad Layton's Grandmother passed away. Chad and Schenley, and their sons, were very close to her. She was 99 years old I believe. "Nans" lived with Chad and his family for many years so they could take care of the Family Matriarch. A huge responsibility that Chad and Schenley embraced with a lot of love! Sure it was very hard for Chad to get the news while in Florida. I've got footage of "Nans" when whe was brought to Port Royal just a couple of seasons ago to see Chad race, and cheer she did! My condolences to the Layton family. God Bless "Nanna" Mumma R.I.P.

Re: R.I.P Nanna Mumma
November 2006 the West Hanover Historical Society held a "Mumma Recognition Night" in honor of the Mumma family. They family played a significant role in the history of the area. My boys filmed the event as I had to be in Boston at the time. The place was packed, including family and friends from all over the country. Nanna enjoyed the event tremendously as it was a world class "This is your life..." moment for her all evening. Produced a two hour DVD from the footage that will be a lasting tribute to her. She absolutely did live a long and full life. We should all be so lucky.
