Doug Esh
I found this a few minutes ago on South Jersey Dirt Racing site and thought I'd share it here:
Doug Esh Press Release
Doug Esh and the entire Leach Brothers Motorsports/ Pancho’s Racing Products #30 sprint car team, co-owned by **** and Leslie Leach and Pancho and Debbie Lawler, are ready for an assault on the 2008 Central PA 410 sprint schedule. The finishing touches are being put on a fleet of brand new J&J Sprint cars supplied by Pancho and Debbie Lawler. In addition, **** and Leslie Leach have purchased a new Don Ott 410 sprint engine to complete their inventory of motors. Team members, Dennis Kohler, Chris Barnes, Ryan Grady, Barry Jacobs, Jay Picking, Tab Lawler, and Jared Esh have completed the process of building all new cars and spares. The Pancho’s Racing Products race trailer will be outfitted with a new Leach Brothers Motorsports Kenworth tractor to complete the hauler and team’s transportation to Central PA tracks this season. **** Leach will once again handle engine tuning duties. Despite knee replacement surgery this winter, Leach is more than ready for the season and any challenges that come with it. Esh has taken a much larger role in the teams’ overall management during a long off-season that was filled with many details to finalize before the start of this year’s season.
Doug has indicated that the key to the team’s success is a family of sponsors that not only provide the support needed to run a sprint car team but a network of friendships and relationships between the team and their families. “Considering that the team has been together for seven years, which is typically unheard of, the unity the team shares goes far beyond just racing”, states Esh. This family includes, JB Custom Counters, Benkowitsch Custom Counter Specialists, Bud Spring & Suspension, Macri Concrete, Ed Ross State Farm Insurance, Frankie’s 4X4 Trucks, and Fire Protection Services. Doug would also like to welcome several new sponsors, Tara’s Bridal and Special Occasion, Ruckers Computer Solutions, Blooms by Vickery, and North York Auto Menders. Product Sponsors are also a big part of this family; they provided the racing components that make the #30 sprint car team a threat. Leach Brothers Motorsports/ Pancho’s Racing Products #30 sprint car’s product sponsors consist of J&J Auto Racing, DMI Sprint Components, Bulldog Rear Ends, Weld Racing Wheels, AllStar Performance, Penske Shocks, Wings Unlimited, Hoosier Tire- HTMA Mid Atlantic, ButlerBuilt Professional Seat Systems, Simpson Racing, GME Steering, Delco Signs, Mac Tools-Garry Keyser and Sweeney Signs. Doug further noted, “With the owners, team and sponsors we have, the #30 will be stronger than ever.”
Leach Brothers Motorsports/ Pancho’s Racing Products #30 will begin their season on February 23 at Lincoln Speedway. With Esh behind the wheel, Kohler turning the wrenches and Pancho’s Racing Products on the wing the #30 is sure to create the excitement we have all come to expect. See you at the races.
