Lebanon Race Car Show has moved into the Lebanon Valley Expo Center starting at Noon time on Thursday February 21st, thru Saturday February 24th. Some Cars scheduled to appear are the NASCAR Nextel , Little Debbie / US Air Force - Woods Brothers Speedway car # 21, a regular Daytona 500 starter for the past 45 years. The Woods Brothers US Air Force car driven by Bill Elliott missed this years Daytona 500 line-up by a fraction, but will be at the Lebanon EXPO. Rich Tobias's Speedway Entertainment Company, will introduce the open-wheeled Super Midget SpeedSTR creation, powered by a Dodge Neon engine, for the first time in Pennsylvania. Several Tobias' SlingShot speedway owners will proudly show their cars. SlingShot graduate Kyle Ebersole of Hershey, will show his new 2008 Troyer Asphalt Modified race car # 5. Bobby Gerhart of Lebanon will show his Eagle Warranty 2007 Chevrolet # 5, that he used to scored his 5th Daytona ARCA RE/MAX 200 win last year. The Pioneer Pole Building, 2008 Bicknell Small Block Modified # 8, driven by Billy Pauch jr, will be in the middle of other Modified and Sportsman Cars. Several Micro Sprint cars from the Clyde Martin Speedway will be there lookin' good. A group of NorLebCo. Quarter Midgets speedsters from Linda's Speedway, will be proudly displayed, by their pre-teen drivers and owners. Two time ARDC Midget Champion Andy Martin of Gordonville, with his white # 21 Midget car, will be honored during the EXPO week. Multi Championship driver Jeff Strunk of Mohnton, the 2007 title holder of Big Diamond and Grandview Speedways Modified Crowns, will be a Special Person on Friday night during Big Diamond Raceway night. Jeff is talented, friendly, talkable and will hold still for photos and autographs. Nationally known oil painting artist, Clark Angstat of Temple, is scheduled to appear, with his array of famous known race car paintings of stars of today and yesteryear. Free admission tickets to the ARCA RE/MAX 200 race at Pocono Speedway in June, will be awarded as prizes to the Lebanon EXPO fans. Chances for a Orlando Florida, - a 5 day & 4 night vacation for two will be available for a ticket purchase, with a drawing for the winner, will happen on Saturday night. .
The DASAH Nascar styled, X-Treme Racing Experience, a DIRT Track Multiple Simulator, will provide hours of racing experience, to all who want to compete against popular speedway drivers, or their own driver friends. The racing Simulator, allows race fans a feeling of true, behind the wheel thrills, with speeds up to 160 MPH on a 1/2 mile dirt track, that will surely test the drivers skills. Visible score cards will record all finishes, for daily award winners of Cash and Prizes.
Great entertainment at Lebanon Motorsports EXPO, will be provided by DEAN-O & Dusty, plus DEAN-O's Friends, with Country Style Songs and Ballads. DEAN-O's group will be on center stage Thursday and Friday starting at 5 PM and Saturday from 1 PM to 3 PM. The very popular Little Miss Race Queen contest for girls 4 yrs to 8 yrs of age, is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at 2 PM. The Miss Racette Contest for females 16 yrs and older is scheduled for 4 PM on Saturday. The Merchandiser "Best of Show " race car trophy will be awarded before closing time on Saturday at 8 PM.
