You might want to try ebay.
Also, what I have found with GameStop is this (at least the ones in my area). If you tell them you are looking for a particular game – and give them your contact info – usually they will hold it for you, (and if and when they get what you’re looking for in) they will contact you.
The only thing I have found with that is, usually they will only give you a day or so to actually go and pick it up. Also I think (can’t prove so it is just my opinion) they will up-charge the game you request they hold for you – over and above what they would normally ask for when placed on the shelf. But if it is a game I or my kids really want – I do not mind that very much.
GameStop has held games for us (and other folks) many, many times so you might want to explore that option as well.
