Well, last night, the maniac Granny & the golf cart from hell claimed yet another near kill.
Maybe it was my own fault for walking in the grass just off the "speedway" in the infield on my way from the pits to my car. Maybe its my own fault for not having eyes in the back of my freaking head. Maybe its my fault for not hearing the non-exsistent horn or not seeing the non-existent lights on the cart.
But had I been carring a rig like Mike's, Tom's or alot of you other guys strung over my shoulder, it would have been toast no thanks to this imbecile. She had to be less than a foot or so of my right arm...... and there was 20-30 feet of unoccuiped space to the right of her.
Isn't one of the advertisers a custom golf cart company.... how about they put their logo on the darn thing and while they at it, how about a light and beeper for the safety of the customers!
Just because you sign the release when you get your armband, that does not absolve the managment from their duties to act in a reasonable and responsible manner. And that includes giving a complete idiot a potential 750lb deadly weapon with which to mow down your paying customers................
