and....how many of the empty seats can be attributed to the lack of the "free" ticket from sponsors? :dontknow:

Years ago, the benefits of doing business with a company would net you seats at a sporting event.
With companies severely cutting back on spending, this is one of the perks to go. Also many businesses have eliminated the look of improprieties (i.e. buying someone's product so you can get those free tickets).
