Nature of the beast. Calder Cups are great but those boys want a chance to play in the big show and raise Lord Stanley. Wilson, Amadio and Giroux gone, and probably more leaving for better opportunities. Looking like Bourky gonna roll too. It was fun while it lasted. We were lucky enough to see this team for the last two years, odds are long they will ever be able to assemble that kind of line up again much less in the near future. Go Bears!

Caps are losing a lot of D-men. Would be surprised if you guys held on to your anchors, Carlson and Alzner. Wouldn't be shocked if Aucoin goes big time too.

Hershey Bears Seek National Anthem Singers
07/22/2010 - The Bears will have a select number of available dates for soloists to sing at the beginning of home games.

Soloists must provide an audio and/or video recording containing a rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, God Bless America, and O' Canada. Due to pre-game time restraints, each rendition should last no longer than one minute and thirty seconds.

After reviewing all recordings the Bears staff will contact 10 to 12 finalists and conduct live auditions in late August. Audition recordings will be accepted until Wednesday, August 18.

Interested candidates should send their full name, address and telephone number with recordings to:

Hershey Bears Anthem Audition
Hershey Bears Hockey Club
550 West Hersheypark Drive
Hershey, PA 17033

Please note, local choruses and other special groups may perform the National Anthem on the other open dates. Interested groups, please contact Janet Dise at jdise@hersheypa.com or at 717-534-3352.

Didn't they just quit playing hockey two weeks ago. That is definately a sport that doesn't know when to quit. When the only ice outside is in the polar ice caps the season should be over.

question for fans who go to alot of games....how expensive are the tickets down there? do the games usually sell out? I want to come down there in Feb when the Moose play the Bears and was curious when I should get the tickets and how much money I'm going to need.

I have season tickets so I'm not 100% sure, but I think $23.00 for down stairs and $15.00 or $16.00 upstairs.Saturday nights usually do sell out or almost do always.
