First off, I'd like to say to Tressel...... "Gooooooooood For Yooooooouuuuuu!!!!"

Glad to see the head coach of Ohio State is not as perfect as the "sweater vest" makes him look. Hope the Buckeyes go 0-2 to start the season.

Seeing that their first two games are at home against Akron & Toledo, I kinda doubt that will happen :ahhhh: This penalty is really just a slap on the wrist :ahhh:

Everyone else does it....I'm sorry, but that's a joke. That's really sad reasoning. Ohio State doesn't HAVE to cheat. They have as much tradition as anyone else, they have a huge fanbase, they have lots of money, and they're in the middle of a state with as much football talent as any other state. A coach who cheats at Ohio State is just lazy.

Look within your own conference. None of these guys have ever felt the need to cheat.

I can only assume the NCAA is not happy with these new findings. Tressel has always been someone who would break the rules to win. He is very good at getting away with it.

The NCAA is going to have their eyes fixed on him for now on so these little "incidents" won't be so easy to hide.

He has built a program that does not need to push the boundaries of the rules.

If any of you think for one minute think that OSU, it's players, coaches or staff have done anything that any other bigtime University hasn't.........you're lying to yourselves.

I'm a fan of OSU cuz my father was an alumn, I was born in the Buckeye State (that may explain allot for some of you), and they more often than not kick PSU all over the place. But lets be real folks........these kids, whether from OSU or Michigan or PSU or Miami or USC or wherever, are doing smalltime, tickytack bullsh!t. Seriously.

On another note..........if the roles were reversed and Joe Pa and PSU were in the spotlight...........I don't think you'd be able to shut me up for days. I mean I'd probably go through 3 or 4 sets of batteries in my keyboard before I'd run out of material..........so leter' fly I guess. It's all good. :pinkelephant:

We'll see ya in the NCAABBall Tourney........nevermind. :handoverhead:

"If any of you think for one minute think that OSU, it's players, coaches or staff have done anything that any other bigtime University hasn't.........you're lying to yourselves."

You have speculation. I have facts. The facts are pretty clear. They are that Penn State's entire athletic department has never been found guilty of a single NCAA violation and the football team hasn't been close to an investigation since 1997 when Paterno threw Enis off the team for accepting an agent's suit. Other programs with a similar record include Stanford, Army, Navy, and Boston College.

I'm not here to turn this into an OSU vs. PSU argument, but this "Everyone does it" excuse is crap. Not even Tressel himself is shameless enough to use that. And even if you were right and everyone cheats, Ohio State still makes a mockery of college athletics - how many of their players even deserve a degree. What's the excuse for that?
