Re: PSU Basketball

Post by Scott Harro » Fri Mar 18, 2011 10:21 am

here's a list of all PSU's National and Big 10 Championships. don't think you'll find men's basketball listed anywhere. the women have faired a little better. i know there are other sports that haven't won Nat'l or Big 10 but none are as big nationally as basketball. i'm a big PSU fan and the atheletic department mentality needs to change if they are going to continue to charge what they charge to see these games and try to promote it as "big time" basketball. after 18 years in the conference with athletics both basketball teams should be better than they are. it comes to recruiting and i know it won't happen overnight but 18 years is plenty long.

What's amazing about Butler's run is that they were about a tenth of a second from losing to ODU in rd 1. Just shows that almost anything can happen in the single elimination tournament.
