bad choice of words. how about take it to the next level. both dunn and dechellis did good things but the top notch results were few and far between. yes an nit championship and an ncaa trip are great but they never seem to be able to sustain the success. the never just "reload" they're always "rebuilding"

The initial candidate search looks like they are more concerned about paying bargain basement price for a coach than they are putting a winner on the court.

They got a fairly good hire. Chambers did a solid job at Boston and it sounds like he may be able to recruit in Philly, which is exactly what PSU needs. He's prolly better than DeChellis, at the least.
