3 now on active rosters. 17 during the total history of NFL.

IDK but Castillo was a LB in his playing days. I think it's more odd that he ever wound up as an O-line coach. Although he was highly regarded as an O-line coach, I thought he was overrated. Hope he's better running the D.

I agree that every team the eagles play is gonna line up and try to run the ball up the gut. An undersized rookie MLB? Of course they're gonna go after him.

The Eagles called a designed quarterback run around for Vick? That wasn't the reason he got hurt but you can't put him in that situation. He is going to put himself in that situation enough on broken down plays.

Either way, did not think he would make it the year without injury. He takes way too many hits and he is not 20 years old anymore.

Kafka played well but the eagles went way too conservative when they put him in. I guess they thought the defense was gonna hang on to the lead...WRONG! Kafka threw it deep once and hooked up with Maclin for 46 yards. Most of the other throws were safe plays like WR screens that ATL was all over, shoulda let him air it out more. I can't believe Maclin dropped that 4th down pass after having such a great game. :ahhh:

So Vick gets his *** handed to him 2 weeks in a row :yessss: . But of course its not the teams fault... its those refs for not throwing flags. :chatterbox: I think he is barking up the wrong tree. :shifty:

Well there were 2 times I saw where he was hit late and to the head that weren't flagged but I don't know if it would have changed the outcome. This team sucks right now. The O-line is awful and so is the defense. All the high priced FA's don't matter when you don't draft well. Where are all the eagles top draft picks from the last couple years? The eagles have plenty of talent at the skill positions and a decent pass rush but that's about it. No toughness in the trenches, can't tackle, can't cover. The LB's overrun every play and don't fill the gaps. I think they could find 3 more talented LB's off other teams practice squads, same with the safeties and the interior O-line positions.

Vick is not discplined enough to stay in the pocket. People always say "Tom Brady never gets hit". It is because 1) they have a good offensive line and 2) he gets rid of the ball without the hesitation.

Vick (like Rothlisberger) hesitate, double pumps, scramble, etc. That is going to get a QB hit alot in this league. These linebackers are big and fast and hit like a ton of bricks.

I disagree with that. Kolb is a mediocre NFL QB at best. The Kolb led Cardinals just put up a whopping 10 points on Seattle. Young is a much more capable back-up and Kafka has as good a skill set as Kolb.

You stay in the pocket for the Eagles and that O-line will get you killed. Right now the eagles have a rookie 7th round 280 lb center and 2 guys cut from other teams at guards. Vick extends the play, runs for 1st downs and occasionally makes a big play downfield when he scrambles. He has tried to force a few passes this year but he isn't the reason the eagles are losing. He's not the one dropping passes, missing tackles, blowing coverages and giving up 4th quarter leads.
