Booper Bare Tapped to Drive for a Second Loco-Motives Team Owned by Jim Stasiowski in 2012.

Booper Bare along with car owner Jim Stasiowski are pleased to announce a deal that will put the 45 year old Virginia veteran in the driver’s seat of a 2nd team owned by the Loco-Motives, LLC President in 2012. The newly formed team will be housed out of Booper’s Rockbridge Baths, Virginia race shop and will utilize Mastersbilt by Huey race cars with potent RoushYates Chevrolet power under the hood of the number 37 Super Late Model. The team plans to get a jump on 2012, as they will enter the Winchester 200 at Winchester Speedway on September 22nd & 23rd along with the Sunoco Fall Classic the following weekend at the Natural Bridge Speedway.

“I feel extremely honored to have this opportunity” said Booper. “We picked up a new car this week and the guys are working hard getting it ready for the Winchester 200. We are going to run Jim’s car two or three times before the season ends and then we will get ready for an all out assault next year” added Bare. The team plans to set a schedule during the off season but will not run anywhere for points or follow a certain series. “We will be able to travel a little more next year than the past couple of seasons, so if it makes economical sense to race at a certain race, we will go. Gary (Stuhler) has done a good job this year driving for Jim’s other team and between the two of us, we hope to see the Loco-Motives cars in Victory Lane quite often in 2012” stated Bare.

“Our main goal this year is still to try to win the 2011 Steel Block Bandit Championship for the Sprouse/Cromer Motorsports team. Merritt & Chris are wonderful to drive for and have become real good friends. I want to try to win this championship for them and their sponsors” stated Bare. “Our plan is to keep this team intact for 2012 and to run the #83 car in some of the better paying steel block races next year. The 83 team will remain housed at my race shop also in 2012 and Merritt & Chris are going to be an important part of the success of the 37 car. With Jim’s car being utilized to strictly race with the Super Late Models and Merritt & Chris’s car for the Steel Block shows, I feel like a child on Christmas Eve. We have a lot of work between now and then, but I cannot wait for next year” added Booper.

Loco-Motives, LLC is a family owned company started, very simply as a children’s amusement area within a Washington D.C. shopping mall. Over the past several years the company has grown to the point of having its trackless train systems in shopping malls & centers from Coast to Coast. Providing its clients with a full service operation including equipment, fully trained operators, insurance, marketing partnerships and most importantly fun has been the main reason behind Loco-Motive’s success without sacrificing any of the company’s core values.
