i know weikert and brewer had these , dont remember if there was any more.

Ron & Floyd only built 2. Cars very very rigid & did not flex enough for smooth dry tracks. Better on the rougher surfaces. Also had a tendacy to overheat because of all the skin around the front section of the tub.

There was going to be three. My father formed and pressed the tubs at CB&I in Greenville Pa. The first try wasn't satisfactory if I remember correctly. Because the front was a bit narrower than the rear, it had to be "pleated" and made the forming difficult. But obviously the next two were successful. ron c.

What were they made of and how thick was it?

It was formed from a harder type aluminum. I don't know the exact spec on thickness, but it was probably close to something like 3/16. Ron Trevis would know for sure.
