looking for some racing over the winter

rc dirt oval is a blast and has 3 local tracks I have been at it for a little over a year but there is a new and affordable way to get into the hobby check the link below and always free to come out and watch bumps and jumps runs dirt oval every saturday practice at 10 racing starts at 12:30 .we race electric and nitro sprints, late models, and edm "modifieds: and starting in january this new steet stock class

I spend my winter Fridays at Richfield RC track . It's a nice laid back atmosphere. Check it out.

This is a benefit ride ( :whistle:

race). It is motorcycles only. Great laid out trails, pretty technical, hills, creeks, woods, fields, smaller easier coarse for the kids. It benefits the "Star Community" which is a home and school for the disabled. This is as grass roots as racing gets, local farmer opens up his property, marks up some trails for a day of fun and fundraising. We go out every year, go as slow or fast as you want to, everyone is courterous and nice, just be sure to move out of the way of the faster guys. It's all for fun. Last year was a blast, and they had some nice raffles, ie snow blower, dirt bike, mountain bike all donated. The winner last year was a father daughter team on a on road/off road bike.

That sounds like sooooooo much fun. I love it and miss it, but i am in no shape to swing a leg over a bike anymore, and slow is and was always out of the question for me. I have thought about getting back in shape so i could do some riding, but those dang sandwiches keep ending up in my hands. :ahhhh:
