The races in the past..( 1990's) were awesome and the cra race was great but ... The track isn't the same as it once was. There is a low groove but over the years the top has flattened out and if your not on the bottom you are washing up and getting freight trained.

Duff's right, the track is nothing like it was in it's hay day. It was an awesome track in the early 90's. But the track is in horrible shape and not fit for 410's without major work. The stand are run down along with the entire facility. They don't even have a ambulance on duty. This track would need a lot of work and cost a pile of cash to get it back to near 90's condition.

Just dont see where they would have enough room for the BIG rigs to park. Trailers where not as big back in the 90's as they are today. JMO

Guess we'll have to get Bags to save us a spot.

Duff, I disagree with you saying you can only run the bottom. That just happens to be where most of the 305's try to run. Most nights the high groove (which admittedly is only 1/2 way from the apron to the guardrail) is usually the fast way around Path Valley. Either way, there is almost always at least 2 grooves to run.

A fair number of you know who I am. I have been hoping for a show like this for years. I also agree with many comments about the facilities ability to handle a huge crowd.

All this being said, I do not know what improvements were made during the off-season. I do know that there is an outside promoter renting the track for a few shows this year.

The schedule is out. I don't see a 410 race yet, but I'm patiently waiting. :wellwaiting:

Half way from the apron isn't the top. :buttkick: If you were there in the 90's you would agree with me, the track isn't the same!
