Here are a few changes that Port has made.

If two heats are run the top 4 finishers will redraw.
If three or four heats are run the top 3 finishers will redraw.

Any time trials run under the authority of Port Royal Speedway will be one lap in distance unless it is a sanctioned event.

Good news! :clap:

I'm very pleased to see that Port will continue to run their regular events without any type of handicapping. I also like the one lap time trials. I believe it saves the track from slowing down as much and therefore provides a more balanced time from beginning to end. Saturday nights at the Port can't come soon enough! :bananadance:

Thought last year was a good idea except they should have had a few more in the redraw. This is about the right number. Letting more in would diminish the racing in the heats. How about last weeks winner? I say let him in the redraw.

Stopped in yesterday to check out the place and LOOKING GOOD!!! Port has red clay on it! Got too meet some of the guys working there and they were kind enough to put me and my youngest son too work! The french fry stand in the pits is now right beside the Hot Sausage stand could life get any better at PORT?

The fans that sit in the infield are in for a pleasant surprise this year. The billboards on the front stretch have been removed, the concession stand in turn one has been removed, the scales in turn one have been removed, and all the old flagstands in the turns have been removed.

Shawn Brouse and the promotional team have done a wonderful job this year with a lot of new promotional nights and a lot of new sponsors this year. :thumbleft:
