The heats are seeded according to the handicap average then a pill draw determines the lineup so the heats aren't stacked. Then the feature is handicapped as normal.

They have to seed the heats because the fast guys don't want other fast guys in their heats.

Could some one PLEASE explain the new Handicapping system to me ? :cheers2:

Draw for heat races, handicap the first four finishers in each heat for the feature or the first 3 in the heats if they run four heats. Im assuming that all the guys who ran Florida would start at the tail end of the handicapped cars assuming they qualify in the top four because they dont have two weeks of racing in at Lincoln. Montieth will be tough starting up front since he missed the A-main last week and he is my pick to win this week.

My thoughts exactly. The Edge.

He's still going to have to make the top 12 from the heats, something he's yet to do yet.

Exactly, luck of the draw. I look for the track to be about the same this week so if you get a bad draw in your heat you are pretty much outside the top 12 looking in, no matter what your point and money average is. This dry slick racing is not exactly Brian's specialty anyway. I must say Kevin impressed me a lot last week with patience and not letting anything rattle him, sticking to his guns on his game plan and working the conditions in his favor. My pick for the first handicap show is Haas.

WC is calling for the wind machine again, now 15 MPH with a high of 47. Carbon Copy of last week for a track,I`d say.

Don't forget too the 358s are going to take more moisture out the track.
