With the season opener this Friday night for the Grove, here's one from the first race of the 1982 season, #46 Randy Ruth and I can't remember who's in the #4X_____________, I'm sure somebody will fill in the blank, enjoy!

seeing the R&R machine shop wing, and the front of the nose area ide say is one of the Ricuppero's.... Im pretty sure that car is still sitting inside their race trailer outside of their shop in Enola..... just a guess, could be way wrong

You're correct. I would say it is Fred driving. He built an engine for my late model back in the late 80's.

If my memory is correct, the lettering on the car is pink.

back in 2000 when i started racing I called to their shop and asked if the trailer was for sale..... they told me it wasnt because its where they store their sprint car.... car has been parked in there since the last night it raced apparently... since then i have seen the trailer move to 3 different locations all within that front parking lot

It was a nice looking trailer back in it's day. That site was also the location of my family's service center, "Shover's ESSO".

That's funny, I was just driving thru Enola the other day and drove past that trailer and wondered if that was for a race team, then I saw how bad a shape it...

It's pretty cool to think that car is still sitting in there, man it would be nice to open those door and take a look at it now... Can't believe they've just let it sit like that for so long...
