As a driver myself and being a fan in racing for quiet a while EVERY driver deserves some type of respect. As well as their crew and sponsors. These drivers, crew, and sponsors bust their *** during the week to do what they enjoy on the weekends. Its not cheap in any shape or form. I know some drivers may have an attitude or something they done made people mad but they still are human everyone makes mistakes and if they wreck they may not walk away like some do. For fans to jump around and laugh and carry on when someone wrecks isnt cool they could be hurt or possibly even dead. You dont know who you are sitting by either it could be their family or close friends even a sponsor and you dont know what you might get yourself into maybe a punch in the face you never know. Friday night when 2 red flags were dropped for two drivers the first thing i asked my crew is if they were okay. I always worry about other drivers esp after watching billy die at williams grove what a nightmare ill never forget.

I don't remember the year but Kraig Kinsers car caught fire on frontstrech at Grove and Mark Smith and I forget some one else helped Krsig from the burning car and they both yelled back to grandstand something like what you want me to do let him burn , no way and mark yelled back I don't care who he races for , a driver is hurt I will help :cheers2: Does anyone remember what year that was because Kraig had his fathers 11 k ?

I think Paull McMahon was the other driver that helped.

Anybody who cheers for a crash has little class or intelligence and alcohol isn't an excuse. I drink at the track and it really bugs me when I see it. I'm not a Rahmer fan at all and I will darn sure cheer when he gets passed but I'd never cheer when he or anyone else crashes. The crashes may be exciting for some people but I hate them anymore. It delays the show. The driver could be seriously injured and it is costly for the team. We all want to see more cars at the track right? With the danger and cost involved, I don't know how anyone could be so ignorant but it is what it is. You can't fix stupid.

I still remember seeing people cheering when Pat Cannon had his bad crash on the frontstretch last year at The Grove and trust me that was bad! It just sickens me to see people acting like that as if they only come to the races to see the crashes.

I help out Frankie Herr in the Super Sportsman divison and have seen it happen a fair share of times over the years. I was standing in the infield in turn 3 at Silver Spring when Frankie had his bad fire in 2003. I can still remember hearing people cheering for that - a race car on fire and the driver trapped inside it. Those fans are the people we don't need in racing.

I was raised to never cheer when a driver crashes because that just creates bad karma all around and eventually it does catch up with you.

I'm afraid stupid people surround us everywhere,
And there's no stopping it, I've heard some here compare it to
An Eagles game, hmm not the same thing.
As far as Fred I watched him race at Grandview wow! It was boozed fueled
Insanity.

That and 17efan knows his D-Bag comments are being watched on another forum so he figured he can get away with it on this one for a bit...
