I gather the last two posts were from some of the Lincoln fred bashers.

Not a Fred basher at all I was sitting in the stands Saturday night trying to keep a Fred fan from getting into a fight because he ran his mouth the whole night about Fred, only to miss the wreck and trun around and bash Brian Montieth for being a low down dirty @@@@@@@ for wrecking Fred, when that never happened.

The crying is for all you fans who continue to cry about this. Get over it.

Some of montieths fans certainly wear blinders but don't lump bill into that category. He gives his true objective opinion no matter if its someone he likes or someone he doesn't. He calls them as he sees them

True that. Bill doesn`t pull any punches and he is not a spin doctor either.

I will say one thing. back in the old days some blow hard started talking some crap about the way my uncle drove a sprint car. He didn`t know he was talking the sh@it in front of Jerry`s brother. He ended up bouncing off the side of a new Chevelle, and he didn`t have any front teeth when it was over.....

I give credit where its due man. I try to be the same way. As far as I'm concerned its the only way to be. This sport is difficult. Even the best step on it once and awhile so if a driver I like punts someone, so be it. Its part of it. These guys are on the ragged edge every time they strap in & mistakes happen. There are some people who will call every driver who gets within a foot of their guy "dirty" but then when their guy gets into someone, its just a racing deal. That annoys me more than anything.

Maybe if we didn't live in such a politically correct society, that would happen a little more often & then some of these people would think a little harder before they flap their gums.

Certainly a lot of cheering from the backstretch when the 15 flipped in turn 3/4 into the fence.

I'm sure none of them were from the message board though. :cwm4:
