I'm with Brent......don't recall this as a Landis car at Port. I believe they were all black and gold.

I am fairly certain it is Belvin "Andy" Anderson. Anderson drove a L-88 at Lincoln Speedway. He was from Thomasville. I am not certain if he is still alive. Plus Anderson's car were always blue in color. Steve Bubb

Would anyone know how I could get a hold of Mr. Anderson, someone from his family or crew? I'd just like to know a bit of the back story on the car and maybe what some of the parts are if they remember. It's got some neat parts on it that I think aren't too common.
Thank you,
Mike Byers

Yep Scott that is Belvin, I remember that car well. He use to live right on the road you turn back to Altland's Ranch in Thomasville. Don't know if he still does or is alive. Goose Ruth I am sure knows so when I see him I will ask, and try to get some info for you.

Also look at the crowd at Lincoln in the picture Scott posted...woohoo..

Question? Belvin's nickname was "Andy"? There also was a guy named Andy Anderson that ran Lincoln and Dorsey, always ran a Ford #94. There's got to be some connection !! Anybody know the story?

I am trying to find out information on the name. I think this is the same driver. There was an Andy Anderson that did some racing at Silver Spring in the early 1960s. Once again I believe, but not certain it is the same driver. I was told the Andy Anderson that raced at the Spring was from the York area. Steve Bubb

Anytime I saw Belvin race it was always in the 88 and that was in the 60's at Lincoln.

Bill Landis used to get on here from time to time. If I see him, I'll tell him to chime in to rule them out.

Ran into Ronnie Ruth and this was not a Belvin "Andy" Anderson car. Sorry I don't remember this car and he doesn't either so the history is up in the air. I agree though the rear, hubs, and some of the parts could be worth some dollars as some of the stuff is hard to get. Just depends exactly what it is.
Ronnie confirmed as I thought the 88 of Belvin was a Yingling car. Ronnie purchased the car after them and turned it into an orange 88

Not a Bill Landis car, back in the day I worked on those cars, not a Landis car.
