All that is great but if he comes to PA to race he won't be the winningest sprint driver of 2012 for long.

a good idea to put that guy in the car for the week before Kville (for shake down and the first round of complaints) and the nationals only...beyond that you are just setting yourself up for a problem jettisoned by dozens of other owners.

I have to agree with both of you. One more thing would be bring a more fan friendly driver and not someone that talks down to you. Good example would be Jac, bringing Jac to our area was like a breath of fresh air for the Pa fans, what a great fan friendly driver and a great wheel man to boot.
Not much of a Lasoski fan myself, but like you say I don't pay the bills.

I read a article the other week where Jac basically said he is ready to get out of PA ASAP... :dontknow:

Something along the lines of its awesome to be in PA with his kid but he's ready to get back on the road/Ohio ASAP...

The Zemco car isn't a car for young guys to take over anymore. They gear up for big time races and expect to be in the A Main at the Knoxville Nationals every year. No offense to guys like Curt Stroup, because they need a shot to prove what they can do, but the Zemco car isn't for them. They'll hire some sort of a name guy to give them a chance at winning Knoxville, Kings Royal, National Open, Silver Cup, etc.

Maybe a guy like Brooke Tatnell? Just throwing a name out there that hasn't been said yet. He can definitely wheel it.

Hmmm, how did that work out with Sam??? Personally i think they would have had better results with a Logan Shughart or several other Pa Posse members! :dontknow: Not my car, so good luck Zemco and i just hope they race some around here!

I would also rethink that strategy because wasn't one of the best to ever wheel the Zemco a kid named Kevin Gobrecht?? :cheers2:

yeah me too, i would rather have an unproven young driver to run basically big money time trial shows only, rather than a former WoO champion, multiple knoxville nationals champion and the current winningest 410 driver in the country

I have no problem with the Dude. His resume speaks for itself but if he gets the ride, are we gonna see him for more than a couple times a year? At least with Stevie, we saw the car at basically all of the time trial shows in PA. Keep in mind he currently has a PA ride in the 98 which to my knowledge has been ran twice so far this year(last 2 WOO shows at the Grove). The season is half over! 2 all-star races this weekend, will the dude be here or cherry picking Knoxville?

Ooops I see the WOO is at Knoxville this weekend so it won't be cherry picking but you get my point.

Not sure, but I believe every time the car has been out he's been in the Dash. I know the Saturday Outlaw show he was the last car out to time and it had been around 15 cars since anyone was anywhere near inversion and then he put up a top 10 lap.

Jac is probably ready to "get out of PA" because he is driving the most underfunded car in the history of his career. Kutos to Wasson and Co for providing the ride but........ it is what it is.

I've heard things take time to click with new driver/team combos but holy ____ i wasn't expecting a one night ride to turn into a visit to victory lane :bdf:

Lets see how this shakes things up now, Could Leppo be the driver of the 1z on Fridays and the 14 on Saturdays?

I fully expect to see him back in the 1z before the end of the month.
