Well I might be a putz but it's not because I believe in sellout streaks. You know as well as I do that Cincy is considered a small market team and Philly a large one. If your going to compare attendance you should also compare payrolls. And you know, I'm not anti-Philly but pro Cincy. The fire sale already started in the City of Brotherly Love and the fair weather philly fans have followed suit by jumping ship. But I know you are not the typical fair weather philly fan just as you know I am not a fair weather Cincy fan. As a lifelong Reds fan we've learned patience in the organization reaching the success level that they have achieved this year and a couple years back when we lost the pennant to the mighty phils. We can't afford to reload the talent pool thru free agency, we got to identify young talent and develop them, and then try to hold onto them with all the big money market teams trying to lure them away with dollars we simply will never have. So when we do reach that level of success we relish it because it don't happen that often. The Reds have earned their spot on top of MLB because since the All-Star break we have the best record in baseball at 33-14. Today (Thursday) is the first day off for the team in the last 35 days as they had a grueling schedule of 34 games in 34 days. And during that period of time we beat a lot of teams and won a lot of series. So feel free to hang your hat on philling seats, because I'm gonna focus on wins and losses. If that make me a putz then so be it. At least I'll be watching my team in October while you'll be watching your team getting pulled off the golf course so they can be traded or sold to other teams. So much for your "nuff said" my friend, it's more like "nuff sour grapes". :buttkick: Go Reds!

Countdown is on. With 18 games left on the Reds regular season schedule and an 11.5 game lead in National League Central....the magic number for the Reds to clinch the division is...
