I am looking at making the haul from South Jersey, somewhere around 2.5 to 3 hours.
Does any one have any info on race format, will they have time trials and what is the
order of events? Mahoning is a great little track but my concern is getting out of
there at a decent hour. I wish that they would have started at 1 instead of 3. It could
be too long of a night for me if they start late and drag the show out.

Thanks for the info Kinser Fan.

I am a bit up in the air about making this one.
It sounds like a great show, but unfortunatly I am
right in the bulls eye of this nasty storm and will
will need to make storm prep my first priority.
Once again thanks for your help and have a great
time at Mahoning Valley.

P.S. 11 plus 43 add up to a pair of KINGS.

Got to make the trip up after all. It was a well run show with a very strong crowd and
solid car count. Good food and friendly employees, especially the folks handling the parking,
they had their work cut out for them with the large crowd but did a great job. I am not
much of a paved track guy but the racing at Mahoning was exciting, they can actually pass
up there and it is by no means your average freight train asphalt modified race. I highly
recommend a side trip up to Mahoning for something a little different.

P.S. Keep us South Jersey folks in your prayers for the next couple of days as we batten
down the hatches and ride out a bad one. Thanks,

Justplanecrazy
