Yosemite Pic from the Valley and Glacier Point

Post by DavidM » Sun Oct 21, 2012 12:36 pm

My summer trip was a bucket list item check off and one of the best trips I've ever takes. A few pics Yosemite Valley and from a late afternoon sunset from Glacier Point.

Tunnel View with Half Dome in the distance, El Capitan on the left and Cathedral rocks on the right.

From Washburn Point with Nevada Falls at the top and Vernal Falls bottom center.

El Capitan from valley floor.

Rock climber about 2/3 up the 3,593 rock face.

Great pictures. In August, my son was there and backpacked 225 miles on the John Muir trail from Yosemite to Mount Whitney. His pictures were breathtaking, as are yours.

That had to be quite a fun adventure! The small amount of hiking I did was fun and a bit challenging. We too were there in August; I'd love to go back in late spring.
