I highly doubt a full field 36 trucks will show up.

That truck was getting around there pretty good...I doubt the track will have that much bite when they put 30 of them out there..

I wonder if this race will pay points towards the championship?

Yeah it's going to be ugly. I bet half those guys have never even raced on dirt before. Trucks will be spinning out every corner.

CH88 - Just found out that a buddy got tickets today for a couple of guys including Adam and me.
I wasn't planning on this one but looks like it's gonna work out that we'll be making a quick trip out and back.
It won't be anything like the Four Crown but it should be pretty cool.

Trucks have raced on smaller tracks than Eldora.

Qualifying Format for the "MudSummer Classic" (In Text Form)

Five heat races (8 laps each); only green flag laps count
Five trucks transfer from each heat
Lineup for the qualifying races will be based on qualifying speeds with four locked-in trucks (trucks in the top 20)
The top-five trucks in qualifying will start on the pole for their respective qualifying race
Highest finishing non-locked-in truck will transfer to race from each qualifying race
From the heats, 25 trucks will have earned spots into the feature

15-Lap Last Chance Race; only green flag laps count
Top 4 will make up positions 26-29
The lineup will be based on the finish from the qualifying races

Starting position No. 30 will go to the most recent past series’ champion who has not already qualified. If the 30th starting position is not filled by an eligible champion, it will be assigned to the next highest finishing truck in the Last Chance Race.

The "feature" will be 150 laps in distance, and broken up into three segments.
Segment 1 - 60 laps
Segment 2 - 50 laps
Segment 3 - 40 laps

Pit stops will be allowed in between each segment to make adjustments.
