Fish Fry this Sunday at Latimore Valley Fairgrounds
The 13th annual Gary Wolford Fish Fry and Silver Spring Speedway reunion will be held this Sunday, May 5th at the Latimore Valley Fairgrounds home of the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing. This annual gathering provides all racing fans an opportunity to enjoy a great day to meet friends and renew acquaintances.
The fish fry begins at 10 AM with the chefs from the Brogue chapter of the Gary Wolford Culinary Institute preparing the main course. The fish fry is by donation and in addition to being a fun day the event has become one of the Museum’s most important fund raisers. The day’s schedule includes a racing memorabilia auction at 12:30 PM and the infamous blindfold race at 1:30 PM. This year’s participants include Fred Rahmer, the Mackison’s, Steve and Jim Siegle and Billy Pauch Sr and Jr.
