Entry Price

Post by KauffmanFan » Fri Jun 21, 2013 5:32 pm

The website says $14 although I've been charged a different price at the gate. Sometimes its $15 when it says $14 on the site what is the explanation of this?

I could use that dollar towards popcorn. :)

That happened a few weeks ago when they rescheduled that charity race when it got rained out the week before. No one told me to change the price and I didn't think to ask. I saw that when I got to the gates that it was up $1. I don't know why you people have to b!tch about the dumbest things, now if it were a $5 difference I can see the b!tching but not $1, I think people just look to put the Grove down at every little thing, but that is JMO.

Why not focus more on the good that the Grove does instead of all the bad , they also donated extra money............from this press release of the results from 5/31...It was charity night at the track with the winners of each feature being given an amount identical to that claimed in the nights 50/50 drawing to donate to the charity of their choice.
Both Krimes and Hershey chose to donate each of their $997 amounts to the victims of the recent Oklahoma tornadoes.
Aside from each of those $997 donations, the track also posted another pair of $997 amounts and gave them to both the York County Racing Club and the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing.

A simple answer to the question would have sufficed. Now I feel bad about asking. :shifty:

Most of that was directed to the general people on this board about griping about tiny little things. I should have put it in a separate paragraph from when I answered your ? about why the price increase of $1 at the gates and not on the website or the pocket schedule. Sorry about that, it wasn't just directed at you.
