I loved the old 3 day program, but I don't think they ever got a good crowd for the thurs show and probably realized a 2 day show was more profitable.

Hit the nail on the head. If the weather forecast is good I'll be making the trek with a first timer in tow.

I can't speak for most of the years that format was in place...but I did go to night 1 of 3 back in '06 and the crowd was pretty sparse to my recollection. It was the first Outlaw race I attended and remember being surprised by the lack of a crowd which is why that sticks out in my mind.

They can't do Sunday's for the Summer Nationals as the WoO have a race at Lebanon Valley Speedway Sunday evening.

Makes it even difficult if the weather is bad Friday or Saturday as there is no place for a Sunday rain date with the currently scheduling.
Dirt's for racing, asphalt's for gettin' there!

I used to like 3 day format because no tts sat only heats ect and usally if one nite rained out you still have the other two :cheers2:

45 cars signed in for Night 1. No rain at the track as of 6:30. Donnie Kreitz will be first out for time trials. Dave Blaney and Tony Stewart are pitside.

Driver's meeting scheduled for 6:30 but is being pushed back.
