what is the point of racing a whole another feature they dont have a shot to win? saves equipment, fuel and tire money

One more question in the first feature Schatz could have let his so called teammate sk stay on lead lap and sk would started up front but no 15 took that away because he felt he could not start in front either can Steve start there  what am I getting at , simple other series teammates help each other not tsr :ahhh:

Are you serious? Donny Schatz is the best sprint car driver in the world because he doesn't GIVE anyone ANYTHING. Guaranteed if the shoe was on the other foot, The King would've done the exact same thing. You can't afford to let up or back off even for one second in sprint car racing. Especially in a field that talented because if you do, there's likely someone in position to make you pay for it. There was a time when Steve couldn't be beaten. That time has passed, he's still better than most but no doubt, age has caught up with him. No need to blame TSR for the fact that he is no longer the man. He had his time and now the torch has been passed to the next generation. Such is life. Get over it.
Way she goes.............

Don't tell Kyle Larson, he went from 26th to 2nd. Guess he knew HE had a chance to win.

 ... even thou the track was alittle narrower than usually (bottom never came in ... too wet) ... the racing was above average ... Brent & Joey in the 1st (for 5th), charges from back to front in 2nd by a few drivers ... too bad for Greg (4th quick but blows in time trails) ... back home before 4 :yessss: :bikeride:

... but saw as good or better shows @ Gas City, Kokomo & Lawrenceburg last weekend :jiggy:

What a show Larson put on last night in that second 30-lapper. That was worth the price of admission times ten. :cheers2:

I was at Lawrenceburg after the Royal on Sunday, and Lernerville blew it out of the water. Both features were awesome.
