Thanks for posting, what a GEM! Thanks too for the great angles and zooms, exactly what I look at when I am face to face with a beauty like this, I can spend hours poring over the details. This is an example of an exceptional restoration.

Thanks again!

Love the shaved tires. They use to look for a white stripe to develope on the tire and knew it was time for a pit stop. Eddie Sachs once was leading the 500 with only a few to go and pulled in for a pit stop. He said the mechanics threw wrenches at him, the tires had a white stripe all the way around. His comment was I would rather be a live loser than a dead hero. Ironic considering his fate.
I spent Thursday at Hershey but didn't see a lot of cars because of the weather, made rounds at a lot of vendors though.
Thanks for the shots Buildy....Awesome!

Great shots Tony. Love the pic of Thurston the Rabbit! He was on all of Lindsey's cars.

Gorgeous car. Winner at Daytona, the only time USAC ran there. Other than the Indy decal for 1963, period perfect.

Jim this is another Watson built in late 1962, for the 1963 season.

Ok Buildy, should have Coral Harbour on the hood. I thought it was a liberal interpretation of the 1959 car, the red should have been the flaming orange. Both cars were #16.

still great looking.
