Wonder what division will replace them? Now who's going to run in the track for the 410 division?

To keep the price of admission down, it will have to be a lower class of cars that doesn't pay much.

I say keep the thunder cars and pay them more. Give half the 50/50 money to the thunder car division.

Sadly I guessed this was going to happen. That would be a fun division to watch with a full field. Unfortunately I started my central PA racing attendance in 2009, so I missed out on what you guys say used to be a good division.

My hunch is Legends get a few more races as well as the All American Outlaws. I don't think 3 open wheel divisions would be good.

Maybe they should start a ThunderVan division? :cwm4:
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?

That is a shame. I loved watching and racing with the thundercars. Hopefully another track will pick them up.

The Lincoln Thunder Cars were a blast to watch back in the mid to late '90's when we used to travel down that way. They were one of the few support divisions that we stayed to watch after the sprints were done.

Not on the Trail-Way schedule either. Guess that's it.

Could a Thundercar run as a Street Stock at like Williams Grove or Susky?

Don't jump all over me for asking, because I truly don't know, and am honestly curious - if they are gone from both Trailways and Lincoln, is this a decision that gets made by the promoters/tracks alone, or did they work with the teams to come up with some sort of "show us N teams average over the 2013 season, and we'll keep the division in 2014, otherwise we'll need to look at alternatives" sort of criteria for when the plug would be pulled?

If I were a racer, it would be frustrating to be sitting on an investment in equipment that suddenly has greatly reduced reduced resale value due to the entire division going away.

If I'm not mistake a Thundercar is more like a Susky Extreme Stock then a Street Stock... But just like the Extreme Stocks, with a few modifications they could easily be turned into a Street Stock if they would rather run that instead of the Extreme's...

Yes these thundercars can run street stock or extreme stock with minor modifications.
