Google Strret View old tracks
Happy Thanksgiving - here is a new page. This one will be what remains at former tracks using Google Street View. The first one is the former Mon Duke Speedway at Export, PA. Today it is senior living

This is not a good view. The remains of the former Claridge Speedway in western PA. Today it is soccer fields

The former Troy quarter mile track was part of the half mile horse track. Today it is the high school football field

This is looking down the Heidelberg Speedway front stretch at the shopping center that covers the Pittsburgh area track

The former Indian Dunes race track and motocross is an open field. They filmed a number of movies and TV shows here

For something different I'll toss in the entrance to Cher's house in Malibu. If you are a fan of the movie It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, this is where they came down off the hill where the W trees were at. Right across the street they made the turn and chased the Sargent along the highway beside the ocean

Not far from Lions, and speaking of the movie It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, this is the entrance to the Park where the W palm trees were at. Sadly the last of the W trees fell over and they are gone.
