I think this is the same car. Jennerstown Laurel Highlands 101. Forget what year but I talked to Bobby this day and he said this was the first night out for it. I think he finished in the top 5 this night.

I am so glad I had the opportunity to see my Dad win so many races within such a short period of time in Central, PA. Words cannot describe how I'm going to feel when the car starts with my Dad sitting in the seat at Williamsgrove/Selinsgrove. The previous video attached is not complete or in order and will be edited when the car is fininshed. My brother and I want to restore the #35 Hawthorne Special from 1967-68. Thank you to everyone who has been involved and those who have been following my posts. I owe all of my mechanical abilities and knowledge to my father. He and I talk frequently about the car.
I have been watching this link closely and I am thrilled to see what you are doing.

Growing up in Selinsgrove I got to watch your dad on a regular basis. I remember as a kid I had a little dog that was fast as he11 when he ran around the yard as a puppy so I named him Bobby Adamson. My parents took me to the infield to meet your dad one night and I remember telling him about my dog. He thought that it was pretty funny. I also got a card signed by your dad a number of years ago at the Motorsports show, so to this day i am still a fan.

brett, can't wait to see this car when complete. as i told you before Bobbie was my favorite driver as an 11-12 year old fan in the early 70's. i still gotta call you and will make sure you have the contacts you need to be able to put it on the big half mile at SG.
My OPINIONS are just that and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of anyone or any track I am associated with!
