Smokey was the KARS Champion in 1975 and won both the Williams Grove and Selinsgrove Championships in 1975. He was third in the 1974 National and 20th in the 1975 National.rrc wrote:Would anyone know how many wins and top 5's Smoke had in 1974 and 1975?

Re: Smokey Snellbaker stats
I remember Smoke saying that he had 29 wins(most for him in a season) in 1975 and none in 1976 because of a new chassis that was designed and was bent/twisted from the time it was made but the twisted frame was not discovered until after the 1976 season was over. He said that 1976 was his most frustrating year of racing. 1974, 75, 76 was in the Wasson #5 and Dic- Hench was his crew chief at the time.
