Re: Daytona 500
This is why i dont watch Nascar or Dayton500 much anymore because instead of trying to get to 1/2 way in 500 they go with a 2 c1/2 hour PRE SHOW and NOW the fans; drivers ; crews got to sit through a rain delay!

Re: Daytona 500
In this race-Kevin Harvick and Jimmy Johnson seem to know how to be there at the end. Kurt Busch likewise. This pace is maddening! Jeff Gordon 1st to pit-strategy?? I don't know-50 laps on a 1/3 mile track is a Marathon for me. Have fun.

Brain France must be giddy this morning. He's got enough crash footage for next years 500 promo.

If it wasn't for grandpappy's money, Austin Dillon would still be in Nationwide.... maybe.
What a disgrace.
What a disgrace.

Re: Daytona 500
Oh-you can say that about 3/4 or more of the field. Your telling me that Mike Dillon has more money than John Menard-Michael Annett-Denny Hamlin etc. I wonder how many hours a week Mike Dillon works in the RCR Engine shop.Richard Childress started out in a Street Stock at Bowman Grey and worked his way up to a back of the pack driver in NASCAR. He hit it huge with Dale Earnhart and here he is today. You got plenty of Daddie's and Grampa's boys in Sprints so lay off the Dillon boys-besides-the Dirt people like them!!

Re: Daytona 500
I don't have any 'hate' for Austin Dillon, none at all. I stopped being a big fan of NASCAR when Davey Allison passed away. I understand the significance of the #3 and everything surrounding Dillon & driving for RCR. I just think he was a bit out of control yesterday for a debut race & being a full-time rookie this season. He's got a ways to go & learn, hopefully he straightens out.
