Does anyone know why the track closed down? Was just watching some video of the place, it seems like a good place to race

I watched quite a few Dirt track world championships in the late 90's it's a very interesting place. Parked our motor home at turn three infield 5 feet off the track some great seats. My cousin witnessed Bloomquist crossing the drain pipes from front stretch to back stretch and slip and fall on his *** in the mud. Saw some great racing there and hope to go back some day but don't think it will happen. Not sure but I think the track got washed out there is a creek that runs through the middle of it.

Yes it did get washed out by flooding, the dep or epa would be the only things that i could see stopping them from rebuilding.
