Another great sprint car race at RK.It might get a little dusty but can't complain when all three races there so far have had good racing up front and 2 had a last lap pass for the win!

That's some great racing. They need to move that track to central PA. 3/8 mile is ideal for sprint cars IMO.

Two questions....
1. Does this lock DD into the Dirt Classic?
2. what starting spot will he get?

It locks him in but the starting spot i am not sure of and sundays race at bedford also locks in the winner for the dirt classic. That was a good race and to see Danny make that pass right in front of me was awesome.

In most of these cases you go through qualifying the same as everyone else and if you don't qualify for a better spot you get a provisional to start at the rear of the field.

Re: June 1, 2014 Roaring Knob Highlights
Roaring Knob is a great sprint car track. They carry good speed and there's plenty of room in the corners. It did get dusty before the feature, but it was very sunny and breezy. They did an awesome job during intermission, watering the track and running it in. That made the feature a great race. The late models also put on a good show.
I will go back again for sure in the future. I hope the word spreads and a few more central PA teams venture west. It's a beautiful ride to the track and the views there are great as well. As far as the distance, it's really only a bit longer ride from Harrisburg than Grandview and taking I70 and 68 saves on the toll money.
I give it

Awesome track. With a little more experience in the track crew, it could be a top tier race track for sprint cars.

Do they run only Sunday 410 shows? I might try to make a show if it's not on a Sunday...to far to travel and make a 4 am wake up call on Monday

Previous races have been Sundays, but the 410's have only been there 3 times I think.zepplinrox wrote:Do they run only Sunday 410 shows? I might try to make a show if it's not on a Sunday...to far to travel and make a 4 am wake up call on Monday!

But how do they know what spot they will start in?? Or how do fans know what spot they would start in?? Pill draw from certain numbers or how does it work?
