I took the day off last Friday and spent some time at Antietam Battlefield.

What I'd like to know, is how did you get all those great photos without ONE tourist in the shot???

I was surprised how few people were there for the Friday before Memorial Day. When I first got to Bloody Lane there were a few people there so I just waited until they left. I had the place to myself for about 30 minutes. Walking such hollowed ground without a soul in sight was a pretty powerful experience. As I was leaving the area I had just turned the Camera off when I looked up and saw this. I just had to stop and take one last shot before leaving.
