Williams Grove Holiday Friday Offers 410 and PASS 305 Sprints Plus Fireworks May 23

Mechanicsburg - An open wheel holiday Friday racing program of Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprints and PASS 305 sprints is on tap at Williams Grove Speedway this Friday, May 23 at 7:30 pm.

To celebrate the Memorial Day holiday weekend a fireworks display will be launched during the program as well.

Racing action for the 410 sprints will be part of the 2014 Hoosier Diamond Series races at the track.

The 410 sprints will use time trials to set the heat lineups, and the 25-lap feature will pay $4,000 to win as the annual Charity Race.

After the Williams Grove portion of 50/50 ticket sales gets donated to charity as always, the winner of the 410 sprint car feature will see the same amount as matched by Williams Grove Speedway be given to the charity of his choice in victory lane.

It will be up to the winner to determine what organization is the recipient of the Williams Grove match.

On Saturday night, May 24, as part of Saturday Series racing featuring the super sportsman, the annual Bill Heckert Memorial will be staged to add even more spark to the holiday weekend at Williams Grove.

The month of May Friday Williams Grove action will come to an end a week later on May 30 when the 410 sprints return along with the Tool Shed of America 358 sprints.

May 30 will be a York County Racing Club Night at the oval as well.
