Williams Grove Speedway 358 Late Models To Compete Friday Night
Although the Williams Grove Speedway Saturday Night Series is one week away from its first event, the series Credit Connection Auto Sales 358 Late Models will compete this Friday night at the historic half-mile clay oval.
The 358 Late Models will join the UNOH All Star Sprint Cars in Friday night action. For the 358 Late Models this will be their first Saturday Night Series point race. All drivers will use a number draw to determine their starting positions. Friday's racing begins at 7:30 PM.
One of the drivers to watch will be Jake Jones. The second-generation competitor is off to a rapid 2015 start in early action at other local speedways. The Shermansdale, PA., driver has two victories in his first five starts. He also has a second-place finish at Winchester Speedway in Virginia. Joining Jones will be local 358 Late Model king Gene Knaub. Knaub has one feature win this season.
Williams Grove Speedway's Saturday Night Series begins racing action on May 2nd. Joining the Credit Connection 358 Late Models will be the Blazer's Body Shop Super Sportsman and Aquafun Pools Street Stocks.
This year Saturday racing action will begin at 7 PM a change from the previous starting time of 6:30. Adult admission is six dollars with children 12 and under free.
