Williams Grove Cancels July 29

Mechanicsburg - Given the rain that has fallen already and the expectation for periodic showers throughout the afternoon and evening, Williams Grove Speedway has pulled the plug on the Friday, July 29 racing program.

The timely decision was made in an effort to save fans and teams undue travel expenses.

Focus now shifts to the August 5 racing program featuring the Hoosier Diamond Series Billy Kimmel Memorial for 410 sprints and the Match Race for 358 sprints.

The Kimmel Memorial will pay $6,000 to win while the lucrative 358 Match Race offering a total purse worth more than $20,000 will pay over $2,000 to the winner.

August 5 action begins at 7:30 pm.
